Accident rates for business drivers are nearly 50% higher than for private motorists of the equivalent age and sex. Over two-thirds of those who drive for work are involved in activities other than carrying passengers or goods. 40% of these drivers are involved in sales, drive to attend meetings or drive for general business activities.
Our Driving Awareness Course is for anyone who drives as part of their profession, from sales reps, delivery drivers and bus drivers to ambulance crews and anyone who drives a vehicle for other work purposes.
This online course covers:
• Legislation that promotes driving awareness.
• Legal requirements for employees and employers.
• General hazards associated with driving.
• Driver personal safety
This course will offer your staff quick and effective driving awareness training to help them stay safe on the roads. The training is suitable for private and public sector companies, including community homes (care homes) and other organisations in the healthcare sector
At the end of the course you will be given a test of 20 multiple choice questions. The required pass rate is 85%.
You will be able to download and print (if required) a digital certificate on completion of the course.
Main course certificates last 3 years.
All our courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
Main Course: Approximately 75 minutes (excluding time taken for the final exams).
