Course Description

No two people are the same. We are different in so many ways, from our cultures and religions to our personalities and social backgrounds.

Who is this for?

This course is aimed at all people in all workplaces, regardless of background, occupation or religion. Equality is often treated as a sensitive issue. Too many people are wary of approaching the topic, worried that they’ll say something that causes offence. This course eliminates confusion surrounding equality and diversity.

The equality and diversity course covers:

UK legislation relating to equality and diversity.
How to minimise prejudice and celebrate diversity in the workplace.
How to expand your workforce’s perspectives to encourage acceptance of others.

Ask any individual this question and you’ll probably get a different answer, which in essence, is the key. The true meaning of equality and diversity is often obscured by myths and stories. This course will enable your staff to understand important issues surrounding equality and diversity in an engaging, interactive manner. Staff can complete their training at any time to suit your needs.

Test and Certification:

At the end of the course you will be given a test of 20 multiple choice questions. The required pass rate is 85%.

You will be able to download and print (if required) a digital certificate on completion of the course.

Main course certificates last 3 years. (Refresher courses are available and recommended every 12 months).

All our courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.

Course Duration:

Main Course: Approximately 40 minutes (excluding time taken for the final exams).
